1. What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), tenant profile information you choose to provide (budget, employment, household), listing details and media from landlords, application documents you upload, messages between users, and technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
2. How we use it
To operate the marketplace: matching and recommendations, trust scoring, fraud detection, screening summaries, lease generation, and payment protection. Tenant profile information and documents are shown to landlords only when you express interest in or apply for their property.
3. What we don't do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your documents or contact details with other users beyond what the application flow requires.
4. AI processing
Trust scores, screening summaries and recommendations are computed from the information you provide on the platform. When third-party AI providers are integrated, this policy will be updated to name them before any personal data is shared.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored with our hosting providers (Cloudflare and Supabase) with encryption in transit. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Access to production data is restricted.
6. Your rights
In line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may close your account at any time. Contact us at privacy@bunkernests.com.
7. Retention
We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as required for dispute resolution and legal obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
